A Little Backstory
My name is Brian, I have spent nearly 20 years in the security business as well as holding a Journeymans card in the Printing Trade. I formed Black~Tie Security with Chris, Darian and Brandon after seeing a need for reliable, professional options in public businesses and events. My goal on the team is to streamline operations and provide a positive experience for our customers. Our region in the country is uniquely positioned to provide the skill set, integrity and honesty that the industry demands but struggles to maintain. It is our goal to bridge that gap through thorough vetting and training. I know Black~Tie can supply the value you are looking for as we continually strive to meet your security needs.
My Name is Brandon. I grew up in Rossville Illinois, but now live in the Quad Cities with my wife and two children. Before getting into Nuclear Security, I taught middle school science and social studies for seven years. I was also a basketball coach during that time. I specialize in scheduling, leadership, and communication. My goal, as a member of the Black~Tie Team, is to provide all businesses with dependable, respectful, and decisive doormen. These individuals will exert the values of our company each and every day. They will help provide a safe, calm environment in which all businesses can continue to thrive, moving in the direction of success.
My name is Christopher, Co founder/investor of Black Tie Security. I have 18 years in the United States Military, 19 years in Nuclear Security, 4 years as a police reserve and 3 years as a private investigator. My military career involves 4 deployments with tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, where I have lead teams into some of the most hostile parts of the world. I have participated in numerous operations in counter- insurgency, counter-terrorism, as well as training foreign militaries in battle formations and tactics. I’ve spent 4 years training with one of the world’s foremost experts in security and counter-terrorism - a Delta Force Operator, CIA Contractor and mercenary Dr. Dale Comstock. I received my Black Belt in American Combat Karate, as well as months training in threat and vulnerability assessments. My specialties include Terrorism and weapons systems, executive protection and the fundamentals of explosives, safety and identification applications and calculations, high speed technical driving, close quarters battle, surveillance and counter surveillance. Our mission with Black Tie Security is to develop an organization that is in a class of its own - developing highly trained security professionals that can handle any situation that may befall them. The standards of Black Tie Security will provide any organization with the protection and professionalism they deserve. We will always strive to be the very best.
My name is Darian, I grew up in Davenport, IA in a large household being the oldest of five siblings. I currently live in Rock Island, IL with my family. Over the past 7 years I have worked as an Animal Protection Officer in Scott County specializing in animal welfare cases, a doorman at various bars and clubs, as well as working as a nuclear security professional for the past two years. As a member of the Black-tie team I plan to bring professionalism, and experience to our team. We strive to give our clients the best service and provide the most suitable members of our team to your security needs.
